About Mrs Hardy
Hello and welcome! I’m Mrs Hardy – a fully qualified and experienced teacher with a passion for helping children succeed and feel confident in their learning.
My journey into tutoring began from a very personal place. I was working as a teacher while also being a mum and caring for my own mother. As much as I loved being in the classroom, I reached a point where the demands of school life were no longer sustainable for me or my family. I knew I still had so much to give as an educator, but I needed to do it in a way that worked around my life and still gave children the attention and care they deserve.
After over a decade in education, including many years teaching in primary schools and supporting children of all abilities, I founded Tutoring with Mrs Hardy to offer something more personal: high-quality, tailored support that meets each child exactly where they are. Whether it’s building phonics skills, preparing for SATs or the 11+, or stretching more able learners, I love creating sessions that are engaging, nurturing, and effective.
Tutoring started as something small – just me, working 1:1 with a few wonderful children. But as demand grew, and more families began to see the difference we were making, Tutoring with Mrs Hardy began to expand. Now, I’m proud to say we have a growing team of fantastic tutors who share the same values and commitment: putting children first, building confidence, and helping every learner achieve their potential.
